Alan's Musical History


Presently, (Early 2014) Alan is performing at Manuel's Mexican Restaurant in Scottsdale Az.. He has been there for 10 years and has worked with Bob Henke (Dr. Hook gituarist, and Glen Campbell bassist) Nokie Edwards (Ventures lead guitar), Thom Bresh (world class thumb picker) and many other great players.

During this time he has also performed on the Grand Canyon Railway on a regular basis, and backed the tribute act "The Highwaymen", a Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson tribute show, at some top venues including Gallo Theater in Modesto, CA,. the McCallum theater in Palm Desert, CA., Texas Station in Las Vegas, and Inn Of The Mountain Gods, in Ruidoso, N.M..

In 2008 Alan was the lyricist for "Message With Music", a corporate training program developed by Dr. Mike Vandermark that featured parodies of popular songs.

In 2006 he was chosen to play in the band that performed at the Elk Theater in Prescott to celebrate the historic theater's 100th anniversary.

All thru the 70's Alan traveled with the popular rock and show group "The Gringos" and sang lead on their United Artist album produced by "Snuff" Garrett and Steve Dorff.

Alan is working on his third album of originals, co-producing with Billy Williams (Grammy winning producer for Lyle Lovett). He has also co-produced an album of originals with Bob Henke.
